Monitoring would have been conducted 2 calendar years after construction. Purpose: Evaluate effectiveness of final clean-up; identify any new environmental issues that have arisen; and to recommend remedial measures. RecommendationsThe Panel recommendations were focused on paperwork and legal documentation, particularly for a more efficient approval and authorization process as well as to keep copies of their permits at the construction sites.
The process has been covered thoroughly, but the recommendations were minimal. Had the construction been completed, the follow-up measures would have been implemented. |
